Jake Chappelow
Owner - CEO
Jake set out to create a local neighborhood restaurant and bar rooted in high-quality ingredients and a strong connection to his community, with a genuine commitment to putting the guest experience first. With 30 plus years in the restaurant and hospitality industry, his determination and straightforward approach brought Burg & Barrel to life. Today, Burg & Barrel has expanded to four locations in Overland Park, South Leawood, Lenexa, and North Leawood, along with a private event space, the Rickhouse, and the Burg Food Truck.

Amanda Chappelow
Owner - CFO
Mandy’s love for the service industry began over 25 years ago, where she discovered her talent for creating memorable experiences and building genuine connections. Driven to bring her own vision to life, she combined her energy, work ethic, and commitment to excellence to shape Burg & Barrel alongside Jake. Her hands-on leadership and strong ties to the local community help guide every location, creating a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere where people feel at home.

Chad Devorak
VP of Operations
With more than 30 years of restaurant leadership experience, Chad has held Vice President roles with Houlihan’s and Yard House, where he spent 20 years helping grow the brand from one location to 67. Starting as a bartender and rising into multi-unit leadership, he became a key driver of the company’s growth. Chad is a hands-on, energetic leader who excels at developing teams, fostering a strong culture, and delivering memorable guest experiences through disciplined, people-first operations.

Ulises Munoz
Chef - Truck Partner
Ulises brings more than 25 years of restaurant experience and a passion for developing exceptional back-of-house teams to Burg & Barrel. A hands-on leader, Ulises plays a vital role in training kitchen staff, maintaining food quality standards, and supporting operations across all locations. His commitment to accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement has helped shape the operational foundation of the company as it continues to grow. When he's not supporting restaurant operations, you'll often find him on the Burg Food Truck, where, as a partner, he proudly serves great food and represents the Burg & Barrel brand throughout the community.

Kinley Swearinger
GM - Overland Park
With more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Kinley began the journey with Burg & Barrel as a bartender before advancing to General Manager. Having worked every step of the guest experience, she brings a hands-on leadership style, an understanding of restaurant operations, and a passion for hospitality. Known for building strong teams and creating a positive workplace culture, she believes that exceptional guest experiences start with engaged employees. By investing in team development, leading by example, and maintaining high operational standards, Kinley has helped cultivate an environment where both guests and staff feel welcome.

Carma Willett
GM - Lenexa
Carma brings more than 30 years of restaurant experience to Burg & Barrel, having worked her way from an hourly team member into leadership roles with respected brands including On The Border, Yard House, and several other nationally recognized restaurant concepts. As General Manager of our Lenexa location, she is known for her hands-on leadership style, her passion for genuine hospitality, and her ability to build strong teams that deliver exceptional guest experiences. She believes great restaurants are built on relationships, accountability, and a commitment to making every guest feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door.

Victoria Karr
GM - North Leawood
Victoria brings more than 20 years of restaurant experience to Burg & Barrel, building her career from dishwasher to General Manager through hard work, determination, and a passion for hospitality. Along the way, she has held leadership roles with brands including Old Chicago, Houlihan's, and other well-respected restaurant concepts, gaining experience in both front-of-house and kitchen operations. As General Manager of our North Leawood location, Victoria is known for her positive energy, strong work ethic, and commitment to developing great people while creating memorable dining experiences for every guest.
